Investing in Canyon’s future: Why I’m supporting the $14 million public safety bond

 

 If you know me, you know I’m not one to jump on every new project or idea just because it sounds good. I believe in practicality, common sense, and thinking things through before asking folks to open their wallets. After all, I’ve lived in Canyon for more than 24 years, and I’ve raised my family here. We’re not just some city on a map—we’re a community of friends, neighbors, and families who look out for each other. And that’s exactly why I believe the $14 million public safety bond on the ballot this May 3, 2025, is something we can’t afford to pass up.
