The Amarillo Police Department is investigating a Tuesday night shooting that left two people injured near Northwest 12th Avenue and North Bonham Street.
Officers were responding to the scene when they encountered a private vehicle transporting the two victims to a local hospital. Police and medical personnel met the vehicle near Amarillo Boulevard West and Western Street before the injured individuals were hospitalized. Their conditions have not been disclosed.
Following an investigation, officers arrested 19-year-old Angel Foreman on two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Authorities believe he is connected to the shooting, though the case remains under investigation.
