The Pampa Police Department has arrested Erik Alexander Keller, 42, who was wanted in connection with the murder of Brandy White, 47.
According to police, Keller was taken into custody Thursday after officers responded to a possible sighting near Hobart and Florida. The Pampa Police Department, along with the Gray County Sheriff’s Office, located and arrested him in the 900 block of Gray Street.
Authorities said Keller resisted arrest, assaulting multiple officers in the process. The officers sustained minor injuries but were treated and released at the scene. After his arrest, Keller was transported to Pampa Regional Medical Center by Gray County EMS due to concerns of possible self-induced poisoning. Once medically cleared, he will be booked into the Gray County Jail.
Keller had been on the run since Tuesday, when police discovered White’s body inside a home in the 1300 block of Garland Street. Investigators, including the Texas Rangers, determined that foul play was involved and issued a warrant for Keller’s arrest on a murder charge.
The case remains under investigation. Authorities urge anyone with additional information or relevant surveillance footage to submit it through the Pampa Police Department’s online submission portal.
