Two individuals have pled guilty in connection with separate robberies at a Toot n’ Totum and Family Dollar in April 2024, according to court records.
Rosalinda Martinez pled guilty to being a “Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm.” Investigators allege Martinez drove Christian Coronado to rob the Family Dollar and kept the firearm used in the crime at her residence.
Court documents reveal that on April 8, Martinez entered the Family Dollar and walked through each aisle before leaving five minutes later. Moments after her exit, Coronado reportedly entered the store, brandished a firearm at the cashier, stole money, and fled the scene.
In a separate case, Coronado admitted guilt to charges of “Affecting Commerce by Robbery” and “Brandishing a Firearm during a Crime of Violence.” Authorities detailed his involvement in the April 5 robbery of the Toot n’ Totum on South Washington. Surveillance footage reportedly showed Coronado pressing a firearm to a clerk’s back before taking cash from the register and escaping.
Court records indicate Martinez also drove Coronado to the Toot n’ Totum for that robbery.
