A man who shot an 8-year-old boy during a road rage incident in June 2022 has pleaded guilty to a lesser charge. Frankie Lee Haigood, initially charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, admitted to deadly conduct with a deadly weapon.
The incident occurred after Haigood reportedly ran a red light near Hodgetown and nearly collided with the family’s car. According to the boy’s father, Eric Frausto, he honked at Haigood, who then fired multiple shots at their vehicle. One of the bullets struck Nico Frausto in the head after passing through the rear window and headrest.
