On Tuesday, Congressman Ronny Jackson (R-TX) was appointed as Co-Chair of the Congressional Israel Allies Caucus, a bipartisan group focused on strengthening U.S.-Israel relations.
Following the announcement, Jackson released a statement emphasizing his commitment to supporting Israel, which he described as one of America’s closest allies. “I will continue the work necessary to ensure that the United States stands with Israel," Jackson said, highlighting the importance of combating threats from Iranian-backed proxies and defending Israel against global anti-Semitic forces.
Jordanna McMillan, U.S. Director of the Israel Allies Foundation, welcomed Jackson to the role, calling his appointment "an honor" and expressing confidence in his leadership as the new Republican Co-Chair.
