The 77th Annual Randall County Junior Livestock Show is gearing up to showcase the hard work and dedication of young exhibitors from across the county. Set to take place from January 6th to 11th at the Randall County Event Center, located at 1111 East Loop 335 South, the event will feature over 200 exhibitors and nearly 500 animals. The event provides a platform for youth in grades 3 through 12 to exhibit their livestock projects, offering a unique opportunity for these young participants to demonstrate the results of months of preparation.
The Randall County Junior Livestock Show is more than just an event—it’s a community tradition and a key part of the busy stock show season. The exhibitors, who are members of 4-H or Future Farmers of America (FFA), spend countless hours training their animals in preparation for the competition. The skills they develop throughout the process not only help them at the county level but often propel them to major state competitions at renowned stock shows in Fort Worth, San Antonio, San Angelo, and Houston.
“We’re thrilled to host the 77th annual show,” said event coordinator Jane Smith. “This event is such an important tradition for our youth. They work so hard and put in countless hours preparing for the show, and it’s great to see the community come together to support them.”
The show will feature a variety of livestock categories, from steers and lambs to goats and broilers. Below is the provided schedule for the 2025 Randall County Junior Livestock Show:
