PARD receives $10,000 donation

The City of Amarillo (COA) Parks and Recreation Department (PARD) has been awarded a $10,000 donation from Bronco Wild Fund and Your Best in Texas Ford Dealers to support local initiatives focused on increasing access, preservation and stewardship of the great outdoors.

“We are honored and deeply grateful to be chosen as the recipient of this generous $10,000 donation," said COA PARD Director Michael Kashuba. "This contribution will support projects aligned with the mission of both the City of Amarillo Parks & Recreation Department, Greater Texas Ford Dealers and the Bronco Wild Fund - expanding access to the outdoors, preserving natural spaces and fostering community stewardship."

The donation was made possible through a grant the Greater Texas Ford Dealers received from Bronco Wild Fund to further their commitment to community engagement and outdoor conservation.

PARD was selected as a host location for the BUILT WILD DAYS event, a signature celebration that promotes outdoor recreation, family fun and connecting people to the outdoors, responsibly.

The BUILT WILD DAYS event will take place beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday (October 26) as part of PARD’s annual Monster Park festivities at Memorial Park. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience a variety of outdoor-themed activities, learn about Bronco Wild Fund’s mission, and engage in interactive stations like seed bomb making. Additionally, visitors can enjoy the thrill of all things Bronco, with fun giveaways and prizes available while supplies last.
